The developers from Jangaroo will be streaming live from http://www.CoreMedia.com in Hamburg, Germany. Jangaroo is a set of Open Source tools to enable programing in ActionScript 3 within a JavaScript environment. Their ActionScript-3-to-JavaScript compiler is there main tool that enable a HTML5 alternative to using the Flash Player. They are apparently in the process of putting the finishing touches on a new version that they will be showing and will give us a break down of what Jangaroo is all about and how to use it.
This meeting will not be located at our normal meeting place, for this week our meeting will be hosted by MediaMind which is located at 135 West 18th Street, 5th Floor. They will be providing food and refreshments for the meeting. If anyone gets lost feel free to call Nilson at 646-712-3940.
If you plan on coming please RSVP so that we have a head count for our host so we have enough food.
We also have a few things to raffle off at the end.
